There’s a reason this blog is more comprehensive than most politics sites in
I care about this community, and am working hard to help people learn about and understand politics and government, two areas that don’t receive enough attention from mainstream media in
My goal is to generate enough advertising revenue to keep this site going. Until I get there, I need additional help.
There are many ways you can help make this site a success. Tell a friend about it. Submit comments and take part in the discussion. Vote in the online polls.
You can also contribute financially.
Haussamen Publications, Inc. is a for-profit corporation, so contributions aren’t tax-deductible. But I believe your gift will help support a small media organization that is providing a needed service.
You can give a one-time gift or contribute regularly. You can give $5 or $500. Every bit helps me continue to grow this site.
Don’t feel like you have to give. Information on the Internet should be available without charge. But if you believe this is an important service and can afford to give, please consider it.
You can donate by clicking on the button at the end of this posting. It will take you to a PayPal page, where you’ll be able to contribute using a credit or debit card. You don’t need a PayPal account to contribute.

Be aware that contributing gives you no control over the editorial content of Heath Haussamen on New Mexico Politics. As is the case with advertising, I’ll listen to the concerns of contributors just like I’ll listen to those of anyone else, but a gift doesn’t get you special access or influence what I write. If this site doesn’t maintain integrity, it doesn’t serve the purpose for which it exists.

It's been almost a year since you asked, and readers have to scroll to the bottom to find this. Their spare money will be going to candidates soon. Make the Contribute button more prominent -- put it at the top.
